Commercial Relationship Manager

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer, key account, supplier, and business partner relationships in industrial markets. This role covers relationship management, commercial coordination, sourcing support, operational follow-up, negotiation, distribution development, and long-term cooperation. You will follow the full relationship lifecycle, including inquiries, quotations, commercial terms, order coordination, documentation, customs-related follow-up, delivery tracking, and payment terms.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop international relationships with customers, key accounts, suppliers, distributors, dealers, and industrial partners.
Build long-term cooperation with manufacturers, distributors, stockists, service providers, contractors, and industrial customers.
Identify and develop new customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Follow up RFQs, quotations, offers, orders, delivery status, documentation, customs requirements, and payment terms.
Coordinate commercial and operational processes between Sales, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Legal teams.
Support negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, warranty, payment terms, exclusivity, distribution rights, and cooperation models.
Support authorized distribution, regional representation, preferred supplier, and strategic partnership opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer, supplier, quotation, order, communication, and documentation records in ERP and CRM systems.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports on relationship development, sales pipeline, sourcing, procurement, and market activities.
Represent the company in customer meetings, supplier meetings, negotiations, exhibitions, factory visits, and business development activities.
Requirements
4-year university degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in relationship management, key account management, procurement, sourcing, supplier management, sales, or business development.
Professional communication ability in Turkish and English is required.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial Supply, Energy, Automation, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Marine, Construction, Machinery, or Heavy Industries is highly preferred.
Strong commercial, procurement, and relationship management mindset.
Good understanding of international trade, Incoterms, logistics, customs documentation, payment terms, and order execution.
Proficiency in ERP, CRM, RFQ management, reporting, documentation control, and Excel.
Disciplined, decisive, and ownership-driven professional able to follow commercial and operational processes end-to-end.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, international, and high-pressure environments.
Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, suppliers, internal teams, and management.
Nice to Have
Experience in spare parts, machinery, engines, industrial equipment, automation products, electrical materials, or technical supply solutions.
Existing customer or supplier network in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia, CIS, Europe, Middle East, or international industrial markets.
Experience in distribution rights, authorized partnerships, exclusivity terms, supplier agreements, or strategic cooperation models.
Russian, French, Dutch, German, Arabic, or Spanish language skills are an advantage.
Knowledge of industrial sourcing, aftermarket parts, equipment supply, and cross-border trade operations.
