About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer and supplier current accounts, payment follow-up, receivables tracking, account reconciliation, and financial coordination across international business operations. This role involves close cooperation with Finance, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Management teams to ensure accurate account control, disciplined payment monitoring, and strong financial process management.
Responsibilities
Manage customer and supplier current accounts across assigned business operations.
Follow up receivables, payables, payment deadlines, credit terms, and account balances.
Perform regular account reconciliations with customers, suppliers, and internal finance records.
Monitor overdue payments and coordinate collection follow-ups with sales and management teams.
Track supplier payment schedules and coordinate payment planning with procurement and finance teams.
Ensure all invoices, payment records, credit notes, debit notes, and account movements are properly recorded.
Maintain accurate financial data in ERP and accounting systems.
Prepare weekly and monthly current account, receivable, payable, and cash flow follow-up reports.
Support management with financial analysis, account status updates, and risk visibility.
Coordinate with banks, accountants, suppliers, customers, and internal departments when required.
Identify discrepancies, missing documents, incorrect entries, and process gaps within financial records.
Support the development of disciplined financial control processes, reporting structures, and follow-up systems.
Requirements
4-year university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in finance, accounting, current account management, receivables, payables, or financial operations.
Strong experience in customer and supplier account reconciliation.
Good understanding of invoicing, payment terms, credit control, cash flow follow-up, and financial reporting.
High proficiency in ERP, accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Fluency in English is mandatory; Turkish, Estonian, Russian, or Finnish is a strong advantage.
Detail-oriented professional with strong discipline, accuracy, and ownership.
Comfortable working with international customers, suppliers, currencies, and payment processes.
Ability to identify financial risks, overdue balances, and account discrepancies clearly.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with customers, suppliers, finance teams, sales teams, and management.
Must be currently residing in Tallinn, Estonia.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in international trade, industrial supply, logistics, machinery, spare parts, or technical supply businesses.
Experience with multi-currency transactions, import/export payments, and international supplier accounts.
Knowledge of Estonian accounting practices, VAT processes, and local financial documentation.
