About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end supply chain lifecycle. This role involves comprehensive leadership of procurement, supply chain management, and supplier development. You will oversee ERP/master data governance, stock and warehouse processes, payment tracking, reporting, and continuous process improvement to ensure uninterrupted industrial scaling and future readiness.
Responsibilities
Lead the complete supply chain process, including offer collection, order placement, and proactive supply/demand alignment,
Take full ownership of end-to-end supply chain management, ensuring seamless integration between supplier development, procurement operations, and warehouse logistics management.
Follow up on financial terms and payment schedules, and manage payment negotiations with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency and reduce capital waste,
Conduct distributor development activities and represent the company in high-level business partnership negotiations,
Own the governance of critical supply chain master data domains (material master, lead times, and sourcing data) within ERP systems to ensure total data accuracy and consistency.
Redesign and streamline operational workflows in stock, warehouse, and inventory management to identify and eliminate bottlenecks within supply chain operations,
Rigorously monitor payment deadlines and credit terms, ensuring financial health within the procurement cycle,
Prepare and present comprehensive weekly and monthly operational reports in English for the General Headquarters,
Work directly with Finance, Warehouse, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure the business operates with precision, discipline, and scalability,
Develop and implement SOPs, KPIs, and monitoring systems to provide actionable insights for supply chain performance.
Requirements
4-year university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field,
Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or operations,
Experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial Supply, Electrification, Energy, Automation, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Heavy Industries is highly preferred,
Fluency in both English and Turkish (Written and Verbal) is mandatory for global coordination,
High proficiency in ERP (as a core master data management tool) and CRM applications, alongside advanced Excel capabilities,
Decisive leader with strong ownership and the ability to make tough call
Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving, and high-pressure environments,
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex processes and translate data into actionable business-relevant insights.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with plant operators, procurement teams, quality departments, and management,
Must be currently residing in Baku, Azerbaijan
Nice to Have
• Experience in industrial spare parts, MRO, equipment, or technical procurement, with the ability to understand part numbers, datasheets, and supplier quotations.
• Knowledge of international sourcing, logistics, customs, and import/export documentation, especially across Turkey, CIS, Europe, GCC, or China.
• Russian or Azerbaijani language proficiency, supplier network experience, or previous exposure to ERP-based reporting and KPI tracking will be considered an advantage.
